Shedeur Sanders’ net worth is likely north of $6 million as of late summer 2025. 

On3, which compiles top college players’ valuations based on the use of their name, image, and likeness (NIL), estimated that Sanders had an NIL valuation of $6.5 million by the end of his senior year at the University of Colorado, where his father is the football coach, in 2025.

The Cleveland Browns signed Sanders to a four-year, $4.6 million rookie contract. But as is the case with other top sports players, high-profile brand endorsements also contribute significantly to his bottom line.

Sanders works with a number of major brands that seek to capitalize on his appeal among sports fans, especially younger fans in Sanders’ generation. Polo Ralph Lauren reportedly has a deal with Sanders for him to promote the clothing company’s Polo 67 EDP fragrance on social media. Who is Shedeur Sanders?

Shedeur Deion Sanders was born in Tyler, Texas, on February 7, 2002. He is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, who played for 14 seasons in the NFL and is currently the head coach of the CU Buffs. Sanders also has an older brother, Shilo Sanders, who is a safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Sanders’ college football career

Sanders’ college football career followed his father’s coaching career. Sanders was a quarterback for Jackson State, where Deion was the team’s head coach, starting in the 2021–22 season. Sanders then entered the transfer portal to the University of Colorado, where Deion joined as the Buffaloes’ head coach. Sanders, who had two years of playing eligibility remaining, started as a junior in the 2023–24 season.

By the time Sanders graduated as a senior after the 2024–25 season, he had broken more than 100 records at Colorado, including career passing touchdowns, passer rating, and completion percentage, according to his school profile.
