While Chick-fil-A is best known for its iconic chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, the popular chain has been increasingly experimenting with new menu items to keep up with evolving consumer trends.
That strategy is paying off because Chick-fil-A was once again named the top quick-service restaurant for the 11th consecutive year, earning a steady score of 83 in the American Customer Satisfaction Index, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index’s 2025 Restaurant and Food Delivery Study.

What are Truett’s Chick-fil-A restaurants?
Truett’s Chick-fil-A locations are unique restaurant concepts created in honor of the chain’s founder, Samuel Truett Cathy, who passed away in 2014. These restaurants are not your typical Chick-fil-A spots; they’re each themed around meaningful moments in the founder’s life and offer an exclusive experience.
While they carry the full standard Chick-fil-A menu, Truett’s restaurants also feature seasonal and specialty items not available at regular Chick-fil-A locations. These offerings have sometimes served as testing locations for future nationwide additions.

Chick-fil-A bets on menu innovations to boost growth
Chick-fil-A has been prioritizing menu innovations to stay competitive among its rivals. From testing new entrees to expanding its beverage offerings, the chain is working hard to remain culturally relevant and appeal to a wider audience.
The chicken chain has added more beverage customization options, allowing customers to mix Sprite, lemonade, iced tea, and ice cream into its drinks.
Chick-fil-A recently introduced four new Cherry Berry beverages, marking Chick-fil-A’s first seasonal soda flavor. It has also launched the new Icedream Spins and Icedream Floats.Â

The Instagram account @snackolator was among the first to share the news of the Pumpkin Pie Latte, and fans were quick to express their frustration over the limited number of locations offering it, demanding that it be made available nationwide.
A user commented, “They need to bring it to the regular Chick-fil-A all over the place, please!!!”
Another user wrote, “Chick-fil-A not releasing this everywhere is CRIMINAL!”
And a fan commented, “Noooooo please bring nationwide, this sounds incredible.”
As of now, Chick-fil-A has not confirmed whether the exclusive fall menu launch is a test or if it plans to bring it to all restaurants nationwide. However, if the demand and feedback are successful at Truett’s locations, the Pumpkin Pie Latte and Fried Apple Pie could eventually make their way to restaurants across the country.
