

Loganair, the UK’s largest regional airline, has announced key appointments as the operator is named the UK’s most punctual airline.
Farrah Malik has joined as interim chief financial officer, following the recent departure of Chris Gemmell. Mr Malik has worked with easyJet and John Lewis Partnership.
Simon McNamara becomes head of government & corporate affairs following a career in regional aviation and public affairs, including his recent role at Heart Aerospace. He will support the airline’s government relations and stakeholder engagement.
Loganair was recognised as the most punctual airline in the UK for the second quarter of this year with 86% of flights departing on time.
It also achieved the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration.
Luke Farajallah, CEO, Loganair said: “Since the introduction of several transformative initiatives in early 2024, the performance of the airline has gone from strength to strength.
“This is a very exciting time for our business with our additional base in Southampton now only months away.”
