Skylark Lasers is to drive international expansion and develop its products after receiving “significant” new investment.
Led by long-term partners at Par Equity and Scottish Enterprise, the funding will provide the Edinburgh company with working capital to expand its commercial team and strengthen its international presence.
It will appoint a global sales manager and build key relationships in China and the US.

Founded in 2013, Skylark Lasers designs and manufactures high performance single frequency diode-pumped solid-state lasers used in quantum research, precision measurement, and scientific instrumentation.
