Why I love this deal
I was a dedicated Hoka fan for years, with the Bondi 7s being my holy grail shoes. I wore them any time I could, and then went on to purchase even more when they were re-released during a limited run. But after spending hundreds of dollars on multiple pairs, I wanted to branch out and try another beloved shoe brand: Brooks.
After shopping around, I landed on the Brooks Ghost Max 2 Shoes and have rarely worn my Hokas since. But with a new Ghost Max 3 debuting at the beginning of August, my go-to shoes will be discontinued. The good news is that they’re having a send-off sale. Why do I love it?
The Brooks Ghost Max 2s caught my eye, as they seemed similar to Hoka Bondi 7s in terms of their cushioning and even their price point. They feature lightweight and dynamic cushioning with nitrogen-infused DNA Loft v3 foam. The shoes also have a GlideRoll Rocker design with upward-curved heels and toes that are made to keep you moving with every step.

When I first tried on the shoes, they did feel slightly firm, but were still comfortable. My feet quickly adjusted, and I found them to be smooth, bouncy, and supportive, especially during long walks. I initially purchased them as a workout shoe, but I love them so much that I wear them practically every day.
