Scottish Building Society has appointed former private banker Graeme Hartop as a non-executive director.
Mr Hartop joins the society following the retirement of Shelia Gunn and Andrew Lee in September.
He served as chief executive of Edinburgh-based Hampden Bank from 2013 to 2024 and previously held the same position at Scottish Widows Bank.
He said that joining the society was “an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organisation with such a strong heritage and clear sense of purpose”.
