Las Vegas Strip Sphere signs iconic rock band to first residency

Spectacular Sphere Las Vegas became Sin City’s premier performance venue when it opened on Sept. 29, 2023, with its U2/UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere residency, which ran for 40 shows and ended on March 2, 2024.

Since that first residency, more global superstar bands and performers have brought their talents to the magical globe for sell-out shows, and even more are scheduled through 2026.

Sphere has welcomed its first country music acts with Kenny Chesney’s 15-show residency, which opened May 22, 2025, and closed June 21. It also signed Zac Brown Band for its four-show “Love & Fear” engagement on Dec. 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2025, which coincides with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Dec. 4-13 at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
